Notice of admission in MPhil / PhD course
*INSTITUTE OF BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES (IBS), UNIVERSITY OF RAJSHAHI (RU
Institute of Biological Sciences (IBSc), Rajshahi University is inviting applications for admission in two-year MPhil and three-year PhD courses.
*Undergraduate (honors) and postgraduate degree holders in any of the disciplines related to biology research in the Faculty of Biology, Agriculture, Medicine and Science can apply for this program.
*Admitted Mphil researchers will get a monthly fellowship of Taka. 15,000/- (fifteen thousand) and PhD researchers 20,000/- (twenty thousand) monthly, as prescribed by the academic committee. (As per the Rules of Rajshahi University).
*Attested photocopy of all examination certificates and marks sheets should be attached with the application form.
*The employed candidate has to apply through the appropriate authority.

Applications are invited for admission in MPH (Master of Public Health) Program (Evening),
Session: 2020-21 (January-2020), Batch- 07 in the Institute of Biological Sciences University of Rajshahi Major in any one of the following disciplines:1. MPH major in Epidemiology2. MPH major in Hospital Management3. MPH major in Health Service Management and Policy4. MPH major in Community Nutrition5. MPH major in Occupational and Environmental Health6. MPH major in Community Medicine7. MPH major in Health Promotion and Health Education8. MPH Reproductive and Child Health9. MPH major in Non-Communicable Diseases10. MPH major in Dental Health
Admission requirements:
Graduate or/ Graduate equivalent Applicants from Medical, Dental, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Alternative Medical Care, Public Health. General Sciences, Agriculture, Biological and Chemical
Sciences and selected subjects on Humanities and others (Social sciences/ Social Work/ Statistics/ Economics/ Psychology) are eligible to apply for admission into the MPH
programs. Specific criteria are applicable for all applicants having different educational
background and further details will be available at: www.ru.ac.bd / www.dept.ru.ac.bd/ibse/IBSc Notice Board.
Graduate or/Graduate equivalent having at least 2™ class or equivalent GPA/CGPA grades from
any recognized University Institute are eligible to apply. The candidates having Third class/Division in any academic examinations are not eligible to apply.
Application procedures:
Application form can be collected from the Institute of Biological Sciences, University of Rajshahi, Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose Academic Building. Room No. 443 during the office hours
from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. or can be downloaded from the IBSc website (www.ru.ac.bd / www.dept.ru.ac.bd/ibse/IBSc). A non-refundable application fees of Tk. 2000/- (Two thousand) is required to be paid through on line banking in favor of Bank account; No. IBSc MPH Program App Form 0200012665614 Agrani Bank Ltd., Rajshahi University Branch-2653. The completed application form along with attested academic certificates/testimonial and two copies of passport size photographs and banking document must reach the office of the institute of Biological Sciences on or before December 30, 2019. The schedule of the admission test will be informed via SMS/E-mail in due time.
