"One-time scholarship notification"
Jamalpur Zilla Parishad to provide one-time scholarship for the financial year 2019-2020 from permanent residents of Jamalpur district, poor but meritorious students studying in various Government Colleges/Government Medical Colleges/ Government Engineering/ Agricultural University/ National/ Public Universities of Bangladesh.
**Applications are being invited in the form prescribed by the District Council subject to the below mentioned conditions.

1. Applicant should have GPA- 5.00 in science section and GPA- 4.75 in other sections in SSC & HSC.
2. GPA- 4.00 in all categories in case of freedom fighter pets, disabled and tribal candidates. However, in the case of freedom fighter pets, the necessary certificates and the certificate of Union Parishad, Chairman/ Ward Councilor regarding the relationship between the pet and the freedom fighter should be attached. In case of disabled, attested copy of certificate issued by Social Services Department should be attached with the application form.
3. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Jamalpur district and must be studying regularly in any educational institution approved by the government.
4. Prescribed application form can be collected from Jamalpur Zilla Parishad office and Zilla Parishad website (www.zpjamalpur.org) free of charge.
5. The application form should contain the recommendation opinion of the Principal/Head of the Department of the educational institution currently studying.
6. 01 (one) copy passport size photograph of the applicant should be attached with the application form.
7. Attested Certificate/Mark Sheet of SSC and HSC or equivalent examination should be attached with the application form.
8. Applicant is permanent resident of Jamalpur district and certificate issued by concerned UP Chairman/ Ward Councilor regarding financial insolvency should be attached with the application form.
9. The applicant should fill the application form with his/her own hand and sign it with full name.
10. The application in the prescribed form should reach the office of the undersigned by 31/01/2020 (during office hours).
11. Incomplete and late applications will be considered rejected.
12. If necessary, detailed information can be obtained from the Jamalpur Zilla Parishad office.
13. The committee will scrutinize the applications received and the final list will be published on the notice board and website on 30/03/2020 AD.
