Job Responsibilities:
The Managing Director & CEO will be responsible for overall business operation of the company in Bangladesh including all central functions, e.g. EHS, Security, legal or HR matters of the country. S/he may commit the Company to commercial terms and conditions, working within the relevant limits of authority and framework agreed with the business divisions.
Other responsibilities include:
* Soliciting business targets from the Head Quarter and cascading information/targets accordingly to the concerned business divisions and corporate departments.
* Coordinate all necessary functions for successful business operation in Bangladesh.
* Global communication and networking with regard to developing business opportunities of the regional company.
* Global communication in the area of technology know-how transfer within the whole regional company and sub-regional level.
* Analyzing the potential market and the competitors operating in the Bangladesh and formulating necessary strategies accordingly to ensure greater market share and multiply growth.
* Budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlling along with asset management.
* Responsible for industrial relations of the regional company.
* Making strategic corporate decisions as a corporate key function.
* Anchoring with sub-regional management and head quarter for various issues.
* Monitoring both technical and commercial aspects of business divisions and projects.
Requirement:
* Business knowledge with engineering and commercial know-how.
* Experience of working with German multinational and expertise in German technology based business is preferable.
* Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering sales/service.
* Minimum graduation in Engineering or equivalent degree from any reputed local or foreign institute is a must.
* Proven track record in multinational business organization in a leading position.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Capable of working under pressure with stretched targets.
* Ability to lead a business organization with full P&L responsibility.
