Position: Head of Ethics & Compliance, Managing Director
Closing Date: 15 September 2020

The Head of Ethics and Compliance is a key Role, responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of a Compliance Management System, which promotes and monitors compliance with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, internal policies and ethical standards. This involves partnering with business, managing compliance projects, developing processes, conducting risk assessments, monitoring investigations and executing different compliance initiatives.

Job Responsibilities
* Lead the Ethics & Compliance Department
* Implement and continuously improve the Compliance Management System of the company
*  Run the Governance program of the company and continuously monitor the implementation of the Governing documents
*  Conduct Risk Assessments in the Compliance area
*  Own, enforce, and monitor the Anti-Corruption Policy
*  Conduct an annual anti-corruption risk assessment and follow up on the risk mitigation activities
*  Provide expert advice on anti-corruption dilemmas
*  Test transactions and conduct other monitoring activities
*  Own, enforce, and monitor the Business Partner Compliance Management process and in particular
*  Conduct integrity assessments of Business Partners
*  Oversee the screening system
*  Support key users, run the Domestic Inquiry process
* Assess the risk levels and design appropriate mitigation activities
* Test the quality of the integrity assessments
*  Deal with external integrity assessment service providers
* Monitor the GP’s whistle blowing platform- the Integrity Hotline
* Closely follow up the investigation progress on all reported concerns and support internal investigations, if necessary
* Support the development of appropriate responses to compliance breaches, including designing of remedial measures
* Run compliance training and awareness campaigns
* Support, interact and advise CXOs on a daily basis

Educational Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Law, Risk management, Corporate Compliance, Audit or other relevant fields

Experience
* Minimum 8 years of experience in working with compliance and/or governance
* Experience in designing strategies and advising senior management
* Experienced in People & Stakeholder Management
* Proficient in English (verbal and written)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

* Excellent People Management skills
* High level of integrity and trustworthiness
* Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
* Ability to work independently as well in a team
* Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills
* Understanding of the telco business will be considered as an added advantage
