Application Circular for Certificate of Management of Micro-Credit Activities

Micro-Credit Regulatory Authority

The government established the Micro-Credit Regulatory Authority (MRA) under the Micro-Credit Regulatory Authority Act, 2006 to ensure transparency and accountability in the activities of micro-credit institutions and to establish good governance in internal management. According to Section 15 (1) of the Act, there is no opportunity for any non-government organization to conduct micro-credit activities in the country without the certificate of the Authority. In order to alleviate poverty, create employment and continue to provide financial assistance to small-scale entrepreneurs, applications are being invited from all districts of the country to conduct micro-credit activities on the following issues and conditions.
