Position & No. of Vacancies:
Position: Geologist (Mining)
Job Responsibilities:
* The candidate should have in-depth knowledge about composition, structure & other physical attributes of the earth.
* Should be able to locate and advise on the extraction of minerals/ metals, petroleum and ground water.
* Perform QA and lab works as and when required and check the QA report, monitoring quality assessment at different fab during the test and finally prepare the lab test report on the critical review.
* Locating ore/ minerals and communicating the coordinates of that ore for exploration, extraction and monitoring operational activities.
* Perform work of geological mapping, surveying, exploration and management of mineral resource.
* Design drilling program in potential area in cost effective & efficient manner.
* Create a 3D geologic and block model of what ore body looks like with the gathered information.
Educational Requirements:
** Post-graduation from any reputed university in Geology (Mining) department with chemistry background either in graduate or H.S.C level
as subsidiary or optional subject.
Experience Requirements:
** Minimum 3 years in the respective field either in lab or direct mining project.
