University of Dhaka, Department of English:
Applications are invited from Bangladeshi nationals in the prescribed form available from the Registrar's Office to fill the vacancies of 03 (three) permanent lecturers in the English Department.
Salary Scale:
TK. 22,000 - 53,060 / - for Lecturer post (National Salary Scale 2015)
Lecturer Qualifications:
Candidates must have a B.A. in English. (Honors) and M.A. in English Literature or Applied Linguistics and English Language Education. Candidates should have B.A (Hons) and M.A. degree. Must have In both the examinations, first class or in case of CGPA, a minimum of 3.50 out of 4.00 or an equivalent degree from a foreign university is required. Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 5.00 out of 5.00 in both SSC and HSC examinations.
Preference may be given to candidates with a degree in English Literature and a higher degree if other qualifications are equal.
