Bangladesh University of Textiles
Executive Development Centre (EDC), BUTEX is offering a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Training in Textile Industry Management sponsored by The Ministry of Finance, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, under the Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP). This program is designed to produce world class managers and future leaders for the textile industry of Bangladesh. The curriculum of the program is designed based on the identified deficient areas of local executives and managers that include Business Communication and Public speaking, Business Management, Business Analysis, Industrial Engineering, Industry Management: Fiber and Spinning, Industry Management: Fabric Manufacturing, Industry Management: Textile Coloration and Finishing, Industry Management: Apparel production and Washing. The EDC is inviting application for admission in EDP Batch: 1, 2, 3 & 4 under Tranche-3.
PROGRAM FEATURES
*International standard Teaching-Learning facilities. *44 working weeks long training program (32 weeks course work, 12 weeks internship report/ presentation)
*No course fee is required. Lunch, refreshment, daily allowance and internship allowance will be provided.
*Class Time: Friday and Saturday- 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. (In exceptional circumstances class can be held online and in weekdays.)
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Category A (Experienced): Executives/Managers working in the textile industry with Bachelor degree in any discipline.
Category B (Fresher): Graduate in Science/Textiles or other branches of Engineering with excellent academic record.
Category C (Female Candidates): Female candidates will get preference in admission.
Category BTMA: Graduate executives who work in production management and have potential to be in top management position in BTMA member industries will get preference if they apply through BTMA recommendations.
⇨ Selection Process:
• Quiz test will be held in online
• Candidates will be selected based on the score received in quiz test and viva-voce
• Candidates will be allowed to sit in Quiz who met the advertised criteria
• Candidates who are successful in quiz test will be called to appear in viva-voce

APPLICATION PROCESS
*Candidates should apply either using the prescribed application form available at https://forms.gle/bWHBoyW5RKJvlkyt7 . After submission of form through online an auto-generated filled-in application form will be sent to given email address. The signed form along with the following documents have to be submitted to EDC office:
