*DU will fill its following vacant posts urgently.
**Applications in prescribed form, obtainable from the office of the Registrar, are invited from the Bangladeshi nationals for filling up one permanent post of Professor in the Department of Statistics. Pay scale: Tk. 56,500-74,400/- (National Pay Scale-2015)

Position & No. of Vacancies:
Permanent Post: Professor
Department of Statistics.
Pay scale: Tk. 56,500 - 74,400/-
(National Pay Scale- 2015)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be distinguished scholars preferably with a PhD. or an equivalent degree in Statistics. They should have at least 12 (twelve) years teaching and research experience in a University or an Institute of Advanced Research. They should have original research works published in recognized research journals. Experience and performance as a teacher as well as significant contribution to different areas of University activities especially in guiding the overall educational and co curricular activities of the students will also be treated as qualification. In special cases, the condition of period of experience may be relaxed.
Eleven copies of application together with attested copies of certificates, testimonials, mark- sheets and proof of experience along with a Pay Order/ Bank Draft of the value of Tk. 1000/- (One thousand) only, payable to the Registrar, should reach him on or before 31/10/2021. Candidates already in service must apply through proper channel.

Pay Scale of TK. 22,000/ - 53,060/-.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have First Class or in case of CGPA 3.50 out of 4.00 in Honours and Master's degree in Geography and Environment with a First Class or in case of GPA 4.25 out of 5.00 in SSC & HSC examinations. Other qualifications being equal preference may be given to those who have higher degrees.
Eight copies of application together with attested copies of certificates, mark-sheets/ grade sheets, testimonials and proof of experience along with a Pay Order/ Bank Draft of the value of Tk. 750/- (seven hundred fifty) only payable to the Registrar, should reach him on or before 19-09-2021.
