North South University (NSU), the first private university in Bangladesh, seeks applications from candidates with required qualifications and experiences for the following position:
Position & No. of Vacancies:
Assistant Student Counselor (Female), Student Counseling Center: 01 (one) position

Academic Qualifications:
Candidate must have Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology/ Educational Psychology from any reputed university or international institution with good academic background. Candidates having advanced degree with experience in adolescent and adult mental health, will be given preference.
Job Experience:
Candidates should have at least 3 to 5 years of practical work experience in any large organizations/ educational institutes/ hospital/ health care organization.
Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Providing counseling/ psychotherapy to NSU students and employees (students priority) to promote their psychological well-being and improve mental health status.
* Organize and conduct individual, group and family sessions online and in person.
* Organize and facilitate seminars/ workshops.
* Proper documentation and reporting to the immediate authority.
* Perform administrative duties as assigned by the administrative authority.
Age:
Ideally 28 - 35 years.
Monthly Salary:
An attractive salary package, with Festival Bonuses, Group Insurance, Provident Fund, Gratuity and in-house medical services is on offer.
Other Terms and Conditions:
* Proficiency in English and good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to work in shifts, holidays and emergencies, if required.
* Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
* Third division/ class/ equivalent GPA of the candidates in any educational level will not be accepted.
* NSU authority reserves the right to accept or reject any application without giving any reason.

Academic Qualifications:
Master's degree in any discipline with computer literacy and ability to use computer in a technological platform. Knowledge in operating and monitoring IP based CCTV and modern electronic access and security control devices.
Job Experience:
At least 10 (ten) years of work experience and similar position in any Large organization. Retired Defense Officers in the rink of Major or equivalent with good health will be given preference. For an exceptionally deserving candidate, the academic qualification nay be relaxed.
Age: Not exceeding 48 years.
