Applications in prescribed form obtainable from the office of the Registrar, are invited from the Bangladesh nationals for filling up one permanent post of Professor in the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management in the Pay Scale of TK. 56,500/- - 74,400/- (National pay Scale - 2015).
QUALIFICATION:
Candidates must be distinguished scholars preferably with a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management/ Business Studies. They should have at least 12 (twelve) years teaching and research experience in a University or an Institute of Advanced Research. They should have original research works published in recognized research journals. Experience and performance as a teacher as well as significant contribution to different areas of University activities especially in guiding the overall educational and co-curricular activities of the students will also be treated as qualification. Area of PhD relax able incase of internal candidate.
Eleven copies of application together with attested copies of certificates, testimonials, mark-sheets and proof of experience along with a Pay Order/Bank Draft of the value of Tk. 1,000/-(One thousand) only, payable to the Registrar, should reach him on or before 26-07-2022. Applications in prescribed form, obtainable from the office of the Registrar, are invited from the Bangladeshi nationals for filling up 01 (One) permanent post of Assistant Professor and 01 (One) Temporary post of Assistant Professor (against the vacancy of an Associate Professor) in the Department of Population Sciences, University of Dhaka in the Pay Scales of TK. 35,500/- - 67,010/- (National Pay Scales-2015).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have a minimum first class or in case of CGPA 3.50 out of 4.00 in both B.S.S (Hon's) and M.S.S degree in Population Sciences/Statistics/Applied Statistics with minimum first division or in case of GPA/ CGPA 4.25 out of 5.00 in both S.S.C. & H.S.C. examinations. Candidates must have 03 (three) years of teaching and research experience in a University with 03 (three) research publications in standard journals. Publication in the predatory journal will not be accepted. Experience and expertise in teaching as well as contributions towards the management of co-curricular activities of the students will be considered as qualifications of the candidates. Other qualifications being equal preference may be given to candidates who earned Ph.D. degree in the field of Demography/ Public Health.
