Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited is looking for Type Rated Captain and First Officer currently flying Boeing-787 aircraft. The appointment will be on contractual basis for 01 (One) year (renewable as required).


1. To apply for this opportunity, candidate must meet the following requirements: 



I) Citizen of Bangladesh/ Foreign National.

II) A CAAB/ ICAO/ FAA/ EASA valid ATPL with valid class one medical certificate. 

III) Minimum flying experience 

:For Captain: 

a) Minimum Flying Experience :8000 Hrs 

b) Minimum PIC Experience :3000 Hrs 

c) Minimum PIC on Type Experience :1000 Hrs


For First Officer: 

a) Minimum Flying Experience :4000 Hrs 

b) Minimum P2 Experience :3000 Hrs 

c) Minimum P2 on Type Experience :500 Hrs


IV) Minimum PIC as above mentioned on Type Boeing 787 - with current IR and Pilot's Proficiency check. 

V) Age limit: 62 years on the date of application. 

VI) Recent experience- at least three takes-off and landings within the preceding 90 days on the type of aircraft applied for or in a flight simulator approved for the purpose. 

VII) Fluency in written and spoken English, equivalent to ICAO English level 5 or above. 

VIII) Number of posts: Captain- 12 (Twelve) and First Officer- 06 (Six). 

X) No incident/ accident reports in which held responsible within last five years. 

X) No affidavit will be acceptable in case of date of birth. 

XI) Candidates if selected from other airlines must provide NOC before joining. 

XII) Selected candidates will have to undergo training as required. 

XIII) Selected candidates shall have to sign an agreement and a surety bond separately on non-judiciary stamp of Taka 1000/- each. 

XIV) Salary and all other benefits Negotiable. 

XV) All taxes will be borne by themselves. 

XVI) Biman authority reserves all the rights to cancel or modify the advertisement partially or fully without showing any reason. 


2. The following information and documents have to be enclosed along with the application:

i) Resume/ CV (mentioning applied post) 

ii) 05 copies of recent passport size color photographs 

iii) Copy of Valid CAAB/ ICAO/ FAA/ EASA ATPL 

iv) Copy of NID 

v) Copy of valid class one medical certificates 

vi) Other relevant documents/ certificates/ licenses 

vii) Last 02 (two) copies of log book page 

viii) Copy of passport.



3. Civil Aviation Directive (CAD-PEL) 02//2022 will be applicable for this recruitment.
