The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, invites applications for two (2) permanent positions of Assistant Professor at the Pay Scale (NPS-2015) of Tk 35,500 - 67,010.
**The candidate must have an MBA or a Master's degree in a business-related discipline/ Economics/ Development Studies/ IT/ Business Analytics/ Statistics from a reputed university. Preference may be given to candidates having a PhD degree in any of the subjects mentioned above. S/he must also have a 4-year BBA or Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline/ Economics/ Statistics/ Business Analytics/ Computer Science/ IT/ Mathematics/ Law/ Psychology. Candidates with degree(s) from reputed international universities may be given preference.
**The candidate must have a CGPA of at least 3.50 (on a 4-point scale) or equivalent or a First Class (if CGPA is not provided) in both Master's and Bachelor's degrees. The candidate must also have a GPA of at least 4.25 (on a 5-point scale) or equivalent or a First Division (if GPA is not provided) In SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations. The candidate must have at least three (03) years of full-time teaching experience in a reputed university. S/he must also have at least three (03) research publications in recognized academic journals. Publication in the Predatory journal will not be accepted. Experience and performance as a teacher and contribution to different areas of university activities, especially in guiding students' overall educational and co-curricular activities, will be treated as an added qualification. One of the approved condition of SSC or HSC examination may be relaxed to those who obtained first position / achieved highest CGPA in Honors or Master degree.
Application Procedure:
Interested candidates have to submit eight (08) copies of applications enclosing attested copies of all educational certificates/degrees, mark/grade sheets, two (02) passport-size photographs, experience certificate(s), no objection certificate from the current employer (if applicable), published articles, and other necessary documents. A Pay Order/Bank Draft of Tk. 750.00 (seven hundred and fifty) drawn in favour of the Institute of Business Administration must also be attached to the application package. The prescribed application form may be obtained from the office of the Secretary, IBA, University of Dhaka. The properly filled-in application, necessary documents, and the Pay Order/Bank Draft must reach the office of the Director, IBA latest by 03/01/2023 during office hours.
