Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited is looking for candidates from Bangladeshi Nationals to be recruited as 'Executive Chef' and 'Junior Executive Chef' for Biman Flight Catering Centre (BFCC).
1. Executive Chef- 01 (One)
2. Junior Executive Chef- 01 (One)
1. Executive Chef:
| a) Education | : 1. Minimum S.S.C or Equivalent. : 2. Minimum Diploma Degree in culinary arts from any Govt. approved or foreign renowned institutes; |
| b) Work Experience | : Minimum 08 years' experience in any Airline Catering/In-Flight Catering or 12 years' experience in International Standard renowned Five Star Hotel where at least 05 years' experience as an Executive Sous Chef or higher post in any Five Star Hotel or International In-Flight Catering Organization. |
| c) Nature of recruitment | : Contractual; |
| d) Contract Period | : 5 (five) years (renewable); |
| e) Age Limit | : 52 Years (maximum); |
| f) Salary | : Negotiable; |
| g) Leave (per year) | : 14 days Sick leave (non accumulative), 14 days Casual Leave (non accumulative), 30 days Privilege Leave (non accumulative); |
| h) Festival Allowance | : 02 basic in a year and 20% of basic as Baishakhi Allowance will be paid as per Government policy implemented by Biman; |
| i) Transportation | : Pick-up & drop as per existing transport policy; |
| j) Medical | : Tk. 1500/- per month; |
| k) Working Dress | : Only working dress will be provided as per BFCC policy; |
| l) Free/Rebated Air ticket | : As per BFCC policy; |
| m) Number of Post | : 01 (one). |
| n) Insurance | : No insurance will be provided; |
| o) Income Tax | : Paid by employee as per policy. |
2. Junior Executive Chef:
| a) Education | : 1. Minimum S.S.C or Equivalent. 2. Minimum Diploma Degree in culinary arts from any Government approved or foreign renowned institutes; |
| b) Work Experience | : Minimum 06 years' experience in any Airline Catering/In-Flight Catering or 08 years' experience in International Standard renowned Five Star Hotel where at least 05 years' experience as a Sous Chef or higher post in any Five Star Hotel or International In-Flight Catering Organization. |
| c) Nature of recruitment | : Contractual; |
| d) Contract Period | : 5 (Five) years (renewable); |
| e) Age Limit | : 47 Years (maximum); |
| f) Salary | : Negotiable; |
| g) Leave (per year) | : 14 days Sick leave (non accumulative), 14 days Casual Leave (non accumulative), 30 days Privilege Leave (non accumulative); |
| h) Festival Allowance | : 02 basic in a year and 20% of basic as Baishakhi Allowance will be paid as per Government policy implemented by Biman; |

Date of birth will be determined based on SSC or Equivalent certificate. No affidavit will be acceptable in case of date of birth.
After the final selection, candidates working in other organizations shall have to submit NOC from the respective Organization before joining.
Candidates will need to appear in written examination (if applicable), practical test and interview organized by Biman. Date, Time and Venue of written examination, practical test and interview will be notified through email and Biman website www.biman.gov.bd and Career page of
www.biman-airlines.com Selected candidates shall have to execute an agreement and a surety bond separately on non-judicial stamp of Tk. 1,000/- each.
No TA/DA will be admissible for any examination, interview, test etc.
The following documents have to be enclosed along with the application:
i. Curriculum Vitae (CV) of the candidate;
ii. 05 (five) copies of recent passport-size color photographs;
iii. Copy of all Academic Certificates along-with mark-sheets/grade-sheets;
iv. Equivalency certificates o
f foreign degrees (where applicable) issued by the competent au thority of Bangladesh; v. Copy of National ID Card;
vi. Copy of Domicile Certificate from Union Parishad/City Corporation or Pauroshava or any Competent Authority of Bangladesh;
vii. Copies of documents relevant to work experience.
If the required educational and other relevant documents are not attached with the application, it will be considered invalid, and there will be no further communication or consideration regarding the matter.
The number of post may vary and Biman Bangladesh Airlines Ltd. reserves the right to cancel any recruitment program at any time without showing any reason, either in whole or in part.
