The Bank has been incorporated on April, 1987 as a public limited company under the Companies Act, 1913 to undertake and carry out all kinds of banking, financial and business activities, transactions and operations in strict compliance with the principles of Islamic Law (Shariah). All kinds of commercial banking services are provided by the Bank to the customers observing the provisions of the Bank Company Act 1991, Bangladesh Bank's directives and the principles of Islamic Shariah.
Job Summary:
The MD & CEO will lead the team of executives of the Bank and will be responsible for the overall and day to day operations and financing activities of ICBIBL. S/he shall remain accountable for achievement of financial and other business targets by means of business plan, efficient implementation thereof and prudent administrative and financial management. S/he will report to the Board of Directors.
Academic Qualification and Experiences:
• Post-graduation in any discipline preferably in Economics, Banking, Finance or Business Administration from any reputed educational Institution(s).
• At least 15 years of work experience in Banking profession with at least 2 years experience as Managing Director/ Deputy Managing Director/ immediate below position to the CEO of a Bank.
• Good knowledge and skill in office administration, financing, accountancy and taxation to run the organization efficiently in ethical and sustainable manner.
• Experience in dealing with the Government Authority, Multilateral Development Agencies, Financiers, Legal, Environmental and Social Experts.
General Conditions:
• Age not over 55 years as on 30-06-2022. The age limit may be relaxed for highly qualified and deserving candidates.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in both Bangla and English.
Contract Period and Remuneration:
• 2 years employment contract which may be renewed subject to approval of the Board and subsequent clearance from Bangladesh Bank
• Remuneration & Benefits will be determined in commensurate with the Industry and will be negotiated with the short-listed candidates.
