Ashuganj Power Station Company Limited (APSCL) is an enterprise of Bangladesh Power Development Board. The company is looking for energetic and promising person from Bangladeshi nationals for immediate appointment to the post of Executive Director (Finance). As a member of the management team, the Executive Director (Finance) reports through the Managing Director to the Board of Directors. He is responsible for financial planning and analysis, financial forecasts for future business growth, debt management, accounting management, MIS preparation, Public Issue Management related activities and ensuring that the company operates within the legal framework of the country. 

Position & No. of Vacancies: 

*Executive Director (Finance)- 01

Educational Requirements: 

a) At least Master's degree in commerce (Finance/Accounting) /MBA (Finance/Accounting) from any recognized university. Professional Qualification such as CA/CMA/ CFA/ACCA will get preference. 

b) No third division/class or equivalent at any stage of the academic career shall be acceptable. Candidates passed in the grading system must possess at least a CGPA 3.5 on a scale of 5.0 and a CGPA 2.5 on a scale of 4.0. 

Required Experience & Skills: 

c) At least 05 years' experience in senior managerial position in the relevant field (DGM or equivalent or above. 

d) At least 20 years work experience as Assistant Manager & above position in large organizations in the relevant field of which 05 years in generation/ transmission/ distribution utilities. 

e) Must demonstrate knowledge in Govt. financial rules & regulations, PPA, PPR. Knowledge in Bidder Financing/ ECA Financing, PPP etc will be preferred. 

f) Must demonstrate strong participatory leadership ability. 

g) Able to demonstrate knowledge in Company Laws, Tax/VAT Laws, TQM, Corporate Governance, Strategic Management Skill etc. will get preference. 

h) Must have strong communication skills in Bengali & English (written & oral) including working experience using computers. 

Age Limit:

Maximum age limit will be 60 years on the last date of submission of application, 

Remuneration & fringe benefits: 

Monthly basic salary will be Tk. 1,49,000/-. In addition, Medical Support, House rent allowance, Full-time transport with driver, Group Insurance and other Fringe Benefits as per Company's Service Rules and APSCL Pay Scale-2015. Income tax will be payable by the employee. Terms of Appointment: The appointment will be made initially for a period of 01 (One) year and renewable subject to satisfactory performance up to 62 years of age. A set target will be given by the Board of Directors for evaluation of performance.
