VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Required Qualifications: The successful applicant must have:
1. A degree from an accredited international university in Quantity Surveying and Construction Management.
2. At least 15 (fifteen) years' work experience at the senior level in high-profile design and construction projects worth $50 million to $100 million, including the design and construction of schools.
3. Familiarity with FIDIC and other international forms of design and construction contracts.
4. Previous experience in commercial and contracts management internationally and in Bangladesh, including value management and value engineering; procurement and tendering processes; contract development and negotiation; and dealing with consultant and
contractor claims.
5. Membership in or candidacy for RICS APC or other such professional accreditation.
6. Strong technical knowledge and sound management and organizational skills relevant to the design and construction of schools.
7. Proven ability to work independently and to proactively resolve challenges.
