The Aga Khan Academy Dhaka is currently inviting applications for the following position:

Position: ICT MANAGER
The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Manager (the ICT Manager) will oversee the ICT functions for the Academy. The role will include working with the Global Head of ICT and their team to develop a sustainable IT support service infrastructure and to make the essential use of technology to enhance the education strategy.

The award-winning Aga Khan Academy Dhaka will open in July 2021 on a 20-acre site for highly able Bangladeshi students from early years to grade 12 from all over the country. The Academy will provide a quality international education through the International Baccalaureate and residential facilities. It is a landmark project in Bangladesh- an excellent opportunity for the ideal ICT Manager to build their career.

Job Description
Software Management
* Plan and manage implementation of an ERP as per the Academy’s requirements.
* Manage Microsoft Office 365/ Google G Suite platform.
* Manage the ongoing planning process.
* Develop and work closely with the classroom technology integration team.
* Prepare the annual budget for ICT, through the identification, planning and costing of all future developments and upgrades to achieve best value.

Resource Management
* Build and manage the ICT team.
* Support the ordering, stocking and replenishing of ICT consumables.
* Ensure that legal and contractual obligations relating to ICT resources, software licensing, systems and services are met.
* Design and implement the Academy policy and practice regarding asset disposal.

Development and Maintenance of Technical Systems
* Manage information and communication technology networks’ security and back-up systems, and plan disaster recovery contingencies.
* Implement and manage the network infrastructure.
* Ensure all ICT systems are fully operational at all times.
* Assist the Senior Leadership Team on the implementation of ICT policies and procedures.
* Design, implement and maintain the Anti-Virus system.

Background Experience
The ICT Manager should have an overall experience of a minimum of 9-10 years in the ICT field, five for which wold have been served in a managerial role. Direct working and managerial experience in an educational setting, preferably in a K-12 school, would be of value.
