ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a Full-time on-site Type Rated Aircraft Maintenance Engineer-B1/B2 (Aerospace/Avionics), Airbus A330-300 (RR Trent 700), Boeing 737-800 (CFM56), ATR72-600 (PW127F/M) role located in Dhaka, Bangladesh that reports directly to the Maintenance Manager (GM -145) . The Type Rated Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – B1/B2 is responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and airworthiness of all aircraft, specifically Airbus A330-300/ Boeing 737-800/ ATR72-600, according to company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Part 66 Course Complete/Diploma in AME/Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.
Valid Part 66 EASA/CAAM/DGCA/CAAB B1/B2 license with a Type Rating on A330-300/ Boeing 737-800/ ATR72-600.
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance practices.
A solid understanding of relevant regulations and standards related to aircraft maintenance, and experience in working with MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) processes and procedures.
Experience in managing maintenance programs for aircraft and providing technical support to other technical personnel. Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving complex technical problems in a practical and pragmatic manner.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Fluency in English is required.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines and ensure that aircraft maintenance is achieved efficiently.
Willingness to work outside of normal business hours and travel as necessary.
Age 28 to 60 years
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Aircraft Maintenance & Certification:
Perform and certify B1/B2 (Aerospace/Avionics) maintenance tasks on Airbus A330-300 (RR Trent 700), Boeing 737-800 (CFM56), ATR72-600 (PW127F/M) engines in compliance with CAAB/EASA/DGCA regulations.
Ensure the serviceability and airworthiness of airframe, engines, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural systems.
Ensure all avionics, navigation, communication, and electrical systems (e.g., autopilot, radar, flight management systems) meet airworthiness standards.
Troubleshooting & Defect Rectification:
Diagnose and rectify defects in propulsion systems, landing gear, pneumatics, hydraulics, fuel, and pressurization systems.
Diagnose and rectify complex avionics and electrical faults, ensuring minimal aircraft downtime.
Conduct functional tests on systems like EFIS, ECAM, radios, transponders, and autopilot post-maintenance.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure all maintenance activities follow company procedures, Maintenance Data and regulatory requirements (CAAB/EASA).
Accurately log defects, corrective actions, and certifications in AMOS/MRO systems.
Line & Base Maintenance Support:
Oversee scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, including A-checks, B-checks, and component replacements.
Supervise technicians and ensure work meets safety and quality standards.
Technical Leadership & Coordination:
Provide on-the-job training (OJT) to junior engineers and technicians.
Liaise with MRO teams, OEMs, and CAAB inspectors for technical issues and approvals.
AOG (Aircraft on Ground) Support:
Respond to AOG situations with rapid troubleshooting to minimize flight disruptions.
Coordinate with logistics for spare parts and tooling availability.
Safety & Continuous Improvement:
Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and reliability programs.
Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and fleet reliability.
Shift & Emergency Readiness:
Work in rotating shifts, including nights/weekends, to support 24/7 operations.
Be available for emergency call-outs during critical maintenance events.
